You should revise again as its a risky score to pass. I don't think so u should take ur exam. Sorry, I don't want to discourage you but just being realistic. Revise 2 - 3 more weeks minimum. Good luck !

I have the same question, don't know whether I should try NBME or just go to exam without NBME? Is the correlation significant?

i gave nbme form 4 today and got 400. it doesnt tell how much on real exam? what does it mean? can i give exam or not

The main thing to keep in mind is that with Step 3, practice test scores do not correlate very well with your score on the actual exam. The reason for this is simple - there is no CCS component on the practice tests. As a result, there is no objective measure of your preparedness for the CCS, and you can't know how it will impact your final score. The best way to deal with this is to ensure that you prepare for the CCS very thoroughly, as it can make or break you. That said, you can still use the practice tests to gauge where you stand wrt the MCQs.

For the NBMEs, the mean score is 500 with an SD of 100. On the actual exam, the mean score is 222 with an SD of 16 (these numbers are from 2014). So a score of 400 on the NBME correlates to a 206 on the real exam (again, this does not account for the CCS). You can use this to estimate where you stand, or if you're super anal, you can calculate your percentile using your z-score for a more accurate correlation.

My advice: if you're scoring less than 400 on the NBME, hold off on giving the exam. Do another round of UWorld, re-read MTB - whatever you need to do to bring your score up. And of course, know your CCS cases inside-out. Good luck.
