Visa assistance from ECFMG

Hello,
My visa has been rejected thrice now under 214b sectiom. I have already cleared step 1 and 2 ck.
I mailed ecfmg about the same and their response was
"Please be advised that if you would like ECFMG® to contact the United States Embassy/Consulate in your country to assist with your visa application process, you may submit a request to the attention of Roman Mizak at the fax number 215.386.9196.  In your request, please include the mailing address, telephone number, fax number and the name of the official you would like us to contact.  The name of the official is mandatory information in order for you to receive our assistance."

Can anyone tell me what should i write in name of offcials?? Is it the place name where I will be applying for visa or the name of the officer who is going to interview me there?

Has anyone done this before. How was it?
My visa was rejected few days back. My cs is on feb 10th. Should i wait for few months to apply again or apply now?? I am currently unemployed. What to do to maximise my chances. Please help!

I am sorry to hear about your situation. It must be mentally and financially exhausting. Unfortunately, it might get worse before it gets better. Rejections on visitor visas are fairly common all around the world, especially if you're visiting from a "high-risk" country. Additionally, if you're male, don't have a job, and are in the age group of 25-40, it further worsens your chances. It is your responsibility to demonstrate to the counselor that you are not entering US to look for a job and will be back home after the exam. So if you have a job back home, it really helps. Plus having money under your name, property and relatives (children, spouse) also demonstrate significant home ties. Since you've been rejected thrice, I strongly advise you to wait, find a job, work there for few months and then apply for US visa.

Asking the ECFMG for help may or may not work. They can only request the embassy, who actually don't care if you're a doctor or a janitor. Plus you don't know in advance which officer will interview you. Best case scenario would be to draft a letter to the "Consular Officer".

Anyhow, my personal opinion would be to delay the exam, find a job, strengthen your home times and apply at least after 6 months or so (if your CS period extends that far). Also, your exam is only 4 weeks away, I don't know if you're in the correct mental state to tackle the exam. It's a tough exam, and you need to be relaxed, focussed and prepared for it. You don't want the stress of this visa issue affecting your exam performance negatively.

I know it's tough. But sometimes it's sensible to just lay low.
