HELP: I need some guidance

This is will be the third time I am taking the NCLEX-RN exam. The first time I was studying HURST took the NCLEX with 75 questions. The second was with Kaplan & Saunders at 265 questions. Both results all stated "with in the passing mark" some even above average. And on the paper from the BON it said I had to exceed ABOVE average in all categories. I got desperate and heard that UWORLD was the ticket. I'm kind of depressed not going to lie. I already have a job lined up. So no pressure or anything. I was wondering what you guys do on here. I've been doing 75 sometimes more every day pretending like I'm taking the boards, I also read all the rationals. I just got my ATT through PearsonVue today. When would you guys recommend me take the board? Should I schedule my exam in one or two months? I'm really scared. Thanks in advance. God Bless and good luck everybody!

If you read half of uworld rational and listen to mark klimek register for the exam. you will be okay and download," do not delegate what you can eat"put it in Google and read it over and over. Go on quizlet put mark klimek audio notes and read it also. Next month go take the exam and confident in yourself and pray if you believe in God. I will also take my exam next month.

I highly recommend doing roughly 40-50 Q's per day (in tutor mode) and spending time understanding the rationale for each answer, especially the ones you got wrong. During the onset of my studying, I would discover that my reasoning for choosing the correct answer differed from UWorld and I eventually ended up learning A LOT more during this process by simply reading the rationales and looking back up at the question to see and understand why the answer was as it was. Personally, I found doing more than 50 questions per day to be exhausting, especially since remediating took so much time.

I also took it upon myself to take hand written notes and organize these notes in a binder according to various different topics. As my exam neared, I spent the final few days reviewing my notes in the binder, which I found to be very helpful. I ended up scheduling my exam roughly 2 months after studying and ended up having roughly 150 questions left in the Qbank with an average score of 56%. My scores definitely fluctuated throughout my studying, but the most important part is ensuring that you're learning, understanding, and retaining the information (much of it recycles throughout the Qbank, but simply is asked in a different way which assesses your knowledge level best, IMO). The final 2 days days leading up to the exam, I did not do Q's, but rather spent that time reviewing precautions, labs, meds, delegation, (any weak areas), etc. I had a good night's rest the night before the exam and reviewed the morning of.

My final Qbank scores ended up being in the mid 60s and I passed the NCLEX in 75 Q's. During the test, I TOOK MY TIME and hid the clock on the screen. When I felt mentally fatigued, I took a break and ate food, used the bathroom. There is no rush. Better to take your time than rush through. You have PLENTY of time.

My best advice: do UWorld Q's every day, even if you're only getting 15 Q's done. BUT make sure you do Q's daily. REMEDIATE the answers. EVERY SINGLE ONE. Aim to get the majority of the Qbank done. Don't fuss over scores, but do pay attention to your pattern (it took some time for my scores to rise, but they did eventually reach the mid-60s, so don't give up). Best of luck! You can do it!
