PVT works!! June 2018

Hello all,

This time last week, I sat the NCLEX for the first time and passed in 219 questions. I used only UWorld.

I did the PVT about a couple of hours after I finished the exam so I could start planning my life (I was certain I failed miserably after 5 long hours). I wanted to try the PVT BECAUSE i've heard so many things about it, so I figured I should try it myself. I got the good popup but I wasn't convinced, although it gave me a spark of hope. Waiting for the Quick Results made me anxious all weekend (I took the test on a Friday) and was only about half surprised when it said Pass!! All along, I've been trusting the PVT yet I didn't wanna conclude anything until I got my actual results. So that means PVT really is accurate!!

For all you future RNs: Keep focusing on your goals, never doubt yourself, pray a lot and enjoy the days that you're studying cuz you're truly gonna miss UWorld! Read the rationales, write down important notes, reread them, and try to quiz yourself every once in a while (medications, signs and symptoms, developmental stages etc) UWorld will prepare you for all the hard questions. Things are going to be very difficult at first, but if you just stick it out, you'll get the hang of it. Trust yourself, trust UWorld!!

What is PVT?

Hi, PVT is the PearsonVue Trick. It's a "trick" or a workaround to knowing if you passed or failed the nclex just minutes or hours after the exam. Most of us couldn't wait for 48 hours for the QuickReslts, so the PearsonVue Trick is done instead lol.
