fluid and electrolytes
Hi,
anyone know under which section of the NCLEX RN q-bank I could find questions for fluid and electrolyte balance. it doesn't seem to have its own section like cardiovascular or respiratory does
thanks
If you're looking for thyroid, adrenal, etc then it's under Endocrine. That's the stuff we covered in school under the heading of fluid and electrolytes
thanks! I was thinking more along hyper/hypo calcemia/natremia/phosphatemia/potassium etc., do you happen to remember what section those might be under?
Those questions are embedded in the different categories unfortunately. There isn't a specific section for that.
Use Khan Acedemy, ytube, pin interest for electrolytes......know all of the symptoms of electrolytes hypo and hyper.....mg, k, na, ca, etc. it is vital to know the normal ranges.......know all your labs by heart, and priority questions.....do 1000 questions and lock yourself in a room for two weeks....

Thank you so much! I will definitely focus on my lytes then.
Do you have Saunders online questions? It has a section focused on F&E questions only.

I actually do! I hadn't used it yet, mostly have been focused on uworld but that sounds like a good idea. Thanks
Thank you for this! I used Saunder's online questions based on this recommendation and found exactly the F&E specific questions I was looking for.

HI, if your targeting fluid and electrolytes the saunders resource online helped. i did a few questions of that on there and then did 75 questions in Uworld and i feel i could answer them better.
