Clarification on a question - Meningitis.

I came across a question that described an African American boy who had Neisseria meningitides. The patient was treated, however two years later he presents with the same infection again. The question asked which condition is associated with it? I was really stuck between sickle cell disease and complement deficiency. Would anyone be able to help me with this please? Thank you!

From what I know its Complement def, (MAC def) , these patients get repeated infections with Neisseria.
