step3 result for H1B visa??
Is it important to have the step3 result before we they set the rank order list so that they give us H1B visa??

Most programs require u to have ur step 3 by rank order time for them to give u H1b. If u don't have it by then, they will ask if u are willing to take j1 visa because they don't know if u will pass step 3. This is not hard and fast though, u can definitely negotiate

rank order list deadline this year is feb 20th, thats what it says on nrmp- i think. would you advise to give step 3 though?
if you require h1b, please go ahead with step3 exam.. many people advised me to have step3 result before feb 20th! ALL THE BEST!

im sorta worried about the step 3 though- I feel like its meant to be done in first year of residency? or should i just shut up and give it? lol
irrespective of H1B, most people advice to give step3 before residency!
its very hard to prepare after you start residency.
