28 questions in last block of the exam !!
hello guys i just took step 2 ck yesterday 11-8-12 , i had a total of 339 questions only block 1 :45. block 2 : 44. block 3 : 43. block 4-6 : 44 . block 7 : 44 . block 8 : 28 questions only !!. is this normal ?? i was so suprised 28 questions and i had 1 hour to do them

Cud u plz let us all know( who are abt to appear for their exams in near future) that how tough was the real exam and how did u find it in terms of similarity with UWorld qbank?

exam question were reasonable in terms of how hard they are . master the boards book is a must read , UWorld q bank you should go over it at least twice , i cant discuss exam questions but if i want to advice some one about the exam i suggest that he he the following subjects : immunodeficiency syndromes , different between grief and depression , uterine rupture , PPD test , know how to read CXR
Hi..Wish u all the best for ur scores! Can u plz tell us ur exam experience and specially the prep materials and the time u had to go thru them to finally prepare for the exam? What subject or content area was focused more..?

How many questions did u get from them and were they difficult or could u answer them wid ease?

For review i read master the board in a little less than a month . I did wrong questions in uworld . Did NBME twice . I read all the questions topics from NBME
my preparation was a little long cuz my dad passed away during my perpetration . mainly i study kaplan books MBT , UW . i watch kaplan videos , IM and OB/GYN are useful others are not . dont study pediatrics from MBT it is very short you need more . ideal prepration for step 2 ck should take no longer than 7 months , it really help if you have take step 1 before step 2
Same here, i took my CK today (13/11/12) and I had total 347 block 1 45, 2: 45 3:45 4:45 5:44 6:43 7:44 8:36
I was confused. the 6th block had 3-connected question set with and abstract and also a 2-connected question set and I felt this block was much tighter and could have done with more time if they had that much time to give away in the last block. I'm not sure what they're thinking but I am glad someone else had this experience and that it wasn't a glitch at my exam centre lol
