Fifth Pathway and USMLE
If you were a student at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, then this school is not verifying you as a graduate. They are saying that you need a Titulo to be able to take the USMLE and it is an ECFMG requirement. This is COMPLETELY FALSE!!
You are required only to complete 4 years of medical school and obtain a medical diploma, not a Titulo. A Titulo is given after intership and social service in Mexico. When you choose the Fifth Pathway, then you do not complete these nor are they required to complete these. Many Fifth Pathway graduates from New York Medical College are being fed this information and not given the opportunity to be able to take this test that is their RIGHT! This is a very disgraceful thing that this school is doing to it's own Alumni!! Call and let ECFMG know about this so they can investigate this school.
