Hey,

just wondering how indicative UWA scores are? I got decent scores on both that i did back to back, but I'm afraid they are overestimates of what I would get on the real test.

3 of my friends who have already taken their steps earlier this year got scores of 241, 250 and 251 in step1 respectively. the guy with 250, had average of 72% in UWORLD, girl with 251 had 68% average and girl with 241 had 66% average in UWorld. Hope this helped. Btw, 2 of them with the 250 and 251 claimed that Kaplan QBank helped more than UWorld in their opinion since the questions in QBank were longer and more attune to the actual test. They all did both banks however which I plan to do as well.

I had asked that of many friends. They all answered that the score is typically 20-30 pts higher than on step they did and that nbmes are the best estimate of scoring (baring some miracle improvement or panic attack on step).
