In the passage it says that "recombination occurs only in female gametes" so how is it possible that for this Question (QID:401616(1400071)) the answer shows recombination happening for the paternal gene?

Be sure to distinguish between recombination and meiosis. Recombination is when two homologous chromosomes swap some material. Meiosis separates homologous chromosomes and, later, sister chromatids into separate daughter cells. Male gametes do undergo meiosis, which is what the punnett square shows.
