I wrote my step 3 in the last week of December 2010. I got my score in mid January 2011, scored 227/93.

My preparation time period- 5 weeks
Preparation material- Master the Boards, Uworld q bank and uwsa.
I had only time to read master the boards as I was giving my exam in the midst of interviews.

UWqbank - avg 66%
UWSA - 217 three weeks prior to the exam
Intense study period after I got my UWSA score (8 hrs per day)

Real step 3 score 227/93.
