• Overview

  The UWorld Referral Program (“Program”) has been created to reward UWorld users (“you,” “Referrer,” “Member,” or “Participant”) for recommending qualified UWorld products (“Review Courses”) to friends and family (“Referred” or “Participant”) who are seeking to pass the PANCE, PANRE, CFA Exam Level 1, or MBE.

  The following Referral Program Terms and Conditions document contains important information about the Program and is considered to be a binding agreement between you and UWorld LLC. These Terms and Conditions govern participation in any and all Program offers. By participating in the Program, you agree to the Site Terms and Conditions, the Site Privacy Policy, and the Terms and Conditions set forth in this document

• Eligibility

  1. The Referrer may share his/her unique purchasing URL (“Referral Program link”) or unique purchasing code via message, email, or social media on the Referrer’s personal channels, email, or social media pages. Posting the Referrer’s Referral Program Link publicly on forums is against the terms and conditions of this program and does not qualify for payment.
  2. The Referrer must be a current UWorld user age 18 years or older.
  3. The Referred must purchase a QBank priced at $199 or above. Free trials do not count as a qualified referred purchase.
  4. Orders qualifying as a referral must be paid in full by the Referred. Orders that a third party has purchased on behalf of the Referred do not qualify as referral orders.
  5. The user must not only have a paid subscription, but their Qbank subscription has to have been activated prior to referring others.
  6. The Referred may use only one link per purchase, which is not valid with other discounts. This includes both institutional and bulk purchases.
  7. The eligible countries included in the Referral Program are listed in the table under Section 5 (“Disclaimer”).
  8. UWorld reserves the right to prohibit or disqualify at its sole discretion any Participant in the Program. Current UWorld employees and participants of other existing compensation programs, including UWorld affiliate partners, are ineligible to participate in the Program.

• Conditions

  1. The Referrer shares a unique purchasing URL (“Referral Program link”) or a unique purchasing code with another person, the Referred.
  2. Using the Referral Program link shared by the Referrer, the Referred purchases a qualifying package at the UWorld website by entering the Referrers’ unique purchasing code at checkout.
  3. The Referred must purchase the Review Course using the custom URL provided to the Referred or using the Referrer’s unique custom code. If an order is placed without using this URL or code, credit will not be given to the Referrer.
  4. After the Referred’s Review Course has been activated and is active for 30 days without any refund or chargeback requests, the Referrer will be approved to receive an Amazon.com gift card or equivalent.

• Referral Reward

  Upon completion of the 30-day activation period, as stated above, an Amazon.com gift card or equivalent will be sent to the email address associated with the Referrer’s UWorld account. Gift cards will be sent in batches at any time between the completion of the 30-day activation period and 60 days after payment has been made by the Referred.

  Upon receipt of the gift card email, all responsibility on behalf of UWorld has been met. Any problems opening, using, spending, or redeeming the gift card must go through the issuing retailer.

  Rewards may be taxable, depending on the value of the item and the federal, state, and local tax laws applicable to the Referrer or Participant. Participants are solely responsible for reporting such items on tax returns and paying any associated tax liability.

  Upon receipt of the referral reward, the student order purchased from the Referred link is rendered ineligible for any and all discounts, or any and all retroactive changes to said order.

• Disclaimer

  Participants in the Program must comply with all up-to-date “spam” laws. Any distribution of the Referrers’ referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam” under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of the Referrer’s Review Course and exclusion from the Referral Program.

  UWorld reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Program should it determine, at its sole discretion, that the administration, security, or fairness of the Program has been compromised in any way. UWorld may cancel, change, suspend, or modify any aspect of the Program or Program Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice. Additionally, UWorld, at its sole and absolute discretion, may terminate or suspend any person’s participation in the Program for breach of these Program Terms and Conditions or for any actions inconsistent with the intent of these Program Terms and Conditions.

  Gift cards’ issuing retailer may vary by country. Gift cards will be converted to equivalent currency. Issuing retailer, currency for gift card, and eligible countries are listed below.

• Applicable Law, Arbitration, Class Waiver, and Waiver of Jury Trial

  Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or related to the Program or any reward or other prize awarded pursuant to the Program or to this agreement shall be settled by a single arbitrator pursuant to the American Arbitration Association’s Employment Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures (“AAA Rules”).

  Any such arbitration, to the extent necessary, shall be conducted within Dallas County in the state of Texas. Judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator shall be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Further, such arbitrator shall have the authority to grant injunctive relief in a form similar to that which a court of law would otherwise grant. The arbitrator shall be chosen from a panel of licensed attorneys having at least ten (10) years of professional experience. The arbitrator shall be appointed within thirty (30) days of the date the demand for arbitration was sent to the other party. Discovery shall be permitted in accordance with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. This arbitration agreement is expressly made pursuant to and shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq.

  Referrers also acknowledge and understand that with respect to any dispute with UWorld arising out of or relating to Referrers' use of the Program or this agreement:

  1. Referrers relinquish their right to trial by jury; and
  2. Referrers relinquish their right to serve as a representative, as a private attorney general, or in any other representative capacity, or to participate as a member of a class of claimants, in any lawsuit involving such dispute.

• Indemnity

  Participants agree to defend, indemnify, and hold UWorld LLC and its directors, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising in any way from any content or other provided links participants use, including participants’ own breach or violation of the law or of these Terms and Conditions. UWorld LLC reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by participants; and in such case, participants agree to cooperate with UWorld’s defense of such claim.
