UW assessment score –Please advise
I took the UW assessment, got 195/410 and 225/530. I have 2 more weeks until the test; I would like to know what chances I have to pass the exam based on your experience. Thank you for your input.
I have my exam in about 2 weeks as well and my assessment scores are 201 (410) on form 1 and 204 (430) on form 2. I'm using the online score estimator on clinicalreview.com to get an idea of where that places me in terms of an estimates usmle score. The scale is pretty accurate so i've been told and it gives you a cumulative of NBME, UWORLD, and KAPLAN so you can gauge how you're doing overall.

I did it already, it seems to be ok. I was advised to score above 55% in UW assessment in order to pass. Your scores are closer to 50%.
Also...i've been hearing so many different things that i dont know who to believe anymore. When i took my Kaplan course, they were saying i'm doing well while i was only scoring low 50s on their assessment tests. Then i have people telling me that i need to get above a 70 percent on kaplan to pass the USMLE then there are those that say u need above 50 percent on UWORLd and some that say you need above 60 percent. No one's really said much about the assessment test though but i figure that rather than going on heresay, it would be best to plug your numbers into something objective and see where you fall. Same with the Kaplan qbank score estimator. Both consistenly place me in the same range so i hope it true (although the paranoid part of me want to say that they're all lying...hehe)

. I was also advised to score minimum 70% on Kaplan questions to pass step 1 (and above 55% on UW assessment). I am confused and not sure that to do. I could postpone the exam for one more month or go for it…Unfortunately people do not share their experience- assessment UW score versus Step 1 score.
