UWorld unable to launch
plz help me i am having prob launching UWorld application it constantly gives messages that unexpected error has occured or unable to launch .. i am tring for 12 hrs now plzhelp my exam is just here .. too much stress

ohh but is UWorld ok with us using hotspot? doesnt proxy use encryption?

Here is the solution to recent UWORLD error in certain regions including Asia.
Due to some unknown reasons, uworld is not allowing our regional IP address to allow access to their database. To solve this issue, we have to use a proxy (distant, of some other region) IP address for our computers.
1. Go to www.spotflux.com and install the program on your computer.
2. Connect spotflux so that it may use some distant IP address for your computer.
3. Once spotflux is ENABLED. Open your uworld and it shall work Fine.
4. If your spotflux donest work, you can manually add an IP address in the 'settings' tab. Go to PROXIES in SETTINGs and hit the option 'MANUAL PROXY'. Then you'll have to give a factitious Proxy address for your PC (you can search for some factitious IP addresses on Google).
i had been experiencing the same issue for the past couple of days..contacted uworld guys bt the problem didnt get fixed..many thx Shoaib Zafar for sharing this solution..i can finally get the app running..cant thank u enuff...jakallah khair
