CCS case counseling qs
Hi Guys,
Could anyone please tell me in office cases do we have to do appropriate counseling at the end of visit or keep in for the 2 min window?
eg: Ulcerative colitis case: do we counsel for no smoking, diet before we send the pt home or we keep that to the end and meanwhile follow up the pt with medications only?
I appreciate your suggestions!
I'd say keep it toward the end. Keeps things simple... of course reassure the patient in outpatient things but keep all the counseling toward the end makes things a lot easier

So, it would be ok to follow up the pt with medication alone for couple of weeks without diet counseling, or no smoking!
This will not make his problem worse or not to go away, right?
