i used MAAM to address FEMALE SPs, ok or not?
hi,
just have a major confusion ... i used to address some FEMALE SPs as MAAM during stress ...
just as i addressed MALE SPs as SIR, which sounds just fine ...
so how about using MAAM ... what is the opinion of native americans ... plz let me know
i think its a sign of respect ... what do u think ???
will be grateful for seniors opinion who have appeared previously. thank u
Hi. I'd recommend not to use SIR or MAAM, just use their last name (Ex: Mr/Mrs Smith).
The patient and doctor relationship is between equals so you wouldn't want to make one party feel higher.
Hope this helped.
Ms or mrs is better
Sir for males
Male:Mr, Female:Ms(miz) , MD/DDS/DMD/PhD: Dr. Conform with patient that this is the preferred title.
