DOC for hypertensive emergency

hi,

i did nbme 6 today n i was wondering if anyone knows what is the ans for this particular question..
62 yr old female brought with 2 days h/o fatigue and 1 hr h/o confusion,headache.no nausea, vomiting,fever. k/c/o HTN for 6 yrs on hydrochlorothiazide and lisinopril. bp -250/135, b/l papilledema+, clear lungs, S4 is present.ecg- lvh with strain pattern.initial pharmacotherapy? options are

clonidine, hydralazine, nitroglycerin, nitroprusside, nifedipine

i answered nitroglycerin and that is wrong.

Hi, it should be nitroprusside. nitroglycerine is antianginal.
