I'm wondering if applying few days later really makes a difference.
Best of luck to everyone,

Hi

I don't think it matters too much. You can apply within early september and still be ok. I've had friends who applied in mid september and they still got several interviews. I've even known people who applied in early october and receive about 10 to 11 interviews. But general rule of thumb is the earlier the better for you, but with a complete file.

best wishes to you,

The earlier you apply, the better. It shows program directors you are eager. Most of the time though program directors will have a meeting with their faculty in a few weeks and decide who to accept for interview. This is after the program coordinator has gone through and weeded out some of the applicants based on the criteria the program director gives him/her. So as long as you turn your stuff in by the end of the month, you will probably be ok.
