99/234 Cheers to UWorld!
I studied for 3 months and got 99/234.
Here is what I did:
Master the board- 1 read in 1 month.
2 months UWorld subscription- finished off the multiple choice questions in 1 month + 2wks and then went over all the q's again for next 2 weeks. I was getting mid 60's to occassionally high 60's.
CCS cases: started CCS in the last 1 month + 2 wks, and then went over all the cases before the exam.
I only read Kaplan notes for IM, OBGyn and few peds topics.
On my UWorld sim exam I got 227, so I was pretty sure that I would pass.
THE KEY IS GO OVER UWorld over and over again, i felt like I was having a deja-vu when taking the real exam...these UWorld guys are great!

tel me wat is last date u can take step 3,if u wanna be eligible for 2011 match.do the results need to be out before december?
r u a post graduate or just a graduate?
I don't think there's a specific date before which u have to take the exam. It would be wise to have the Step 3 results out during interviews and if not then atleast by Match day so that the step 3 score can give your application a forward push. And about me, I graduated in '09, havent done postgrad.

Did you read Kaplan step 3 books or step 2 books?
