what is step 3
hi. am an img seekin to know about step 3 exam. i saw d website fsmb.org. i want to know is it a different exam for d different states or does i exam cover all the states.pls reply asap.

Different states have different requirements for step 3. So look for the requirements in the state you want to take the exam.
Its a 2 day exam, 8 hrs each day. It tests if you are able to give patient care independently. Lot of people say its better to take the exam after gaining some work or residency experience.
