Step3 in different states

Hi all,
I am a foreign medical graduate and planning to take step 3 in Jan 2012. I am wondering which state should I chose for my application.
Is there any difference between the states regarding this exam?
Does it affects my application for the future residency or fellowship?
Is exam difficulty different if different states?
Is there any specific benefits to take this exam in some states?

I really appreciate it if somebody give me some information.

Regards,

Dear Hadi,

There is no difference which state you pick for exam, i think level of difficulty is same for step 3 in all state. it will not effect you residency or fellowship. you can choose connecticut for the exam because this state allows candidate to appear in the exam without residency.

Good Luck
